Question AT-5sp Driveshaft

I asked earlier if the driveshafts from a AT would fit on my 5sp and I was told that the AT driveshafts don't have yokes but on ebay there is two driveshafts for sale and they both have yokes. Can someone please settle this? Do AT driveshafts have yokes and if yes, will they fit on a 5sp?

Thanx for any input

Verified that the sc300 does in fact have a yolk shaft.

This ebay shaft is out of a 97. Would that make a difference?

I just spoke to Gerry and he confirmed the autos had yolk shafts. I have 2 here that were pulled from a sc300 and they had the tri y yolk. Don't know if it was a Frankenstein build or not.........

Here is a picture of the different driveshafts from SCs and MKIVs which I took when I had all of them and was comparing each one from the other. All SC300s and MKIVs with the 2jzGE NA plus auto transmissions have yokes at the end of their transmissions. Only the SC400 and the MKIV TT with auto trans have flanges. SC400 is tri flange and MKIV is 4 bolt flange.

To answer the OP's question , 5 speed and auto trans front part driveshafts are not of the same length !

If I remember right .. from the tip of the snout to the round flange where it bolts with the end drive shaft .. the 5 speed is 24 3/4" and that of the auto is 22" .

Thanx for replies! Although I was hoping I could use this shaft on my 5sp. I'm going to look elsewhere.

Thank You
