Default Anyone have an idea what this ECU input does?

It is labeled ELS and is pin 15 on the A plug but I am trying to decide if I need it for my race car. I just can't figure out what it would be for.

Power from either mirror heater or tail light fuses.

Wild guess: Emergency Lighting System. It looks to be tied into the lighting, so something to do with hazards?

Electrical Load Sense

It gives a signal to the ECU that heavy electrical loads are ON . The ECU can adjust to electrical loads if it is aware of them. Engine works harder when alternator is working heavily. That pin connects to battery voltage when there is heavy electrical load.

I found that somewhere looking around after I had posted this. I am thinking I can leave this disconnected with the race car since the electrical load changes very little. Thanks for the feedback.
