Default Belt tensioner spring arm

Hello guys. I have seen a lot of helpful threads here but i have yet to see one that is about replacing the full tensioner. My serpentine belt tentioner pulley got bent and literally broke a chuck of metal off the tensioner. I have taken the belt and pulley off and seen the damage done to the arm. I already purchased the new tensioner, but i am not figuring out how to install it and every video on youtube only shows how to replace the pulley, which i already know how to do. I spoke with lexus dealership and they want to charge me 750 dollars to install this part
I dont have that kind of money so im hoping that at least one person has done this repair and can tell me how to go about it and what kind of tools im gonna need. Im in desperate need of installing this part, since i live 40 miles away from my work and this is the only vehicle i own. I greatly appreciate any help that you can give me. Thank you guys in advance for reading this and have a wonderful day.

you have to take the 2 plastic covers off to access the 3 bolts that hold the tensioner down

the plastic covers have 6mm allen head bolts holding them down i pretty sure but they could be 8mm

The tensioner is held down by 3 12mm bolts that are under the plastics.

I'm pretty sure its 5mm hex, but other than that these instructions are spot on.

^^ It is 5mm hex. The instructions from scexy are correct. Those little hex bolts don't really need any special torque so long as they are not loose. Just make them normally hand tight with a 90-degree allen key/wrench. Those three 12mm bolts each get 15 ft-lbs of torque. The tensioner itself is very easy to remove and install. They just cost a bit of money new.

Use a cheap magnet tool alongside your socket wrench if you want to be safe about not dropping the 12mm bolts.

This is the part of the TSRM covering this install/removal. I pulled this from the MKIV TSRM EG-33 "Engine Mechanical". Just ignore the bit that mentions the 2JZGTE M/T tensioner damper-- you don't have that version and the rest of it is exactly the same on your 2JZ-GE.

90080-10155 is the part number for the 3 tensioner bolts. Just in case yours end up snapping (like mine did) when you replace the tensioner.
