Default Car still driving great but new problem help

So the car is driving great now but some issues with the shifter...won't shift out of park...

Let me first start by saying that the Emergency brake light flashes intermittently since I got the car...very strange. but now to shift out of park everytime I have to use the override with a screw driver.

What are all the possible problems causing it to not shift out? the solenoid isnt doing its thing but is there a separate shifting ecu somewhere? I have a feeling the flashing ebrake is related in this...thanks!
I also bled the ABS and there was some air in there for sure...hoping this will stop my TRAC light from coming on all the time

If anyone has info to help with all my strange flashing lights it would be appreciated thanks!

Just an update...looked through the repair manual and went to move the car. Brake lights are not working when I hit the brake...Im guessing this is why the "brake" light keeps coming on

finally had time to look at the car again.

Can't shift out of park and no brake lights...can only be a brake light switch. I didn''t get continuity on the switch

Sound like a defective brake light switch. Once you press the brake pedal it should send a signal to the shifter to release it. You actually hear a clicking sound when the brake pedal is pressed. Replace the brake pedal switch and go from there.

TRAC code 43 pulled. Replaced switch...still no brake lights. TRAC and red brake light on.

relay not clicking bulbs are good.

ripped out dash. Tested TRAC ecu lead and got 5.5v...recommended is 6- 14v.

ordered TRAC ecu and all 4 new relays for abs and trac.

wish me luck...just got the car running 2 weeks ago and now this...any input appreciated
