Default Questions about tuning/piggyback for 2jzgte vvti and non vvti

How's it going guys. So after some searching I can't find a whole lot of info on this subject. Mainly about the vvti. I'm basically deciding if I want to go with the vvti aristo swap in my auto sc300 or the non vvti. Plan and goal is to make anything within 450-500+whp range with the stock auto and modded valve valvebody

. Non vvti aperantly has more options due to a lot of units not being able to control the vvti. If I do go this route I think I would go with a mapecu.

.vvti option is a little cheaper which is nice and the vvti is actually very beneficial, but If I do go this route I want to be able to make my power goals with a piggyback. I keep reading mixed things about this swap and only a handful of units that can control this.

To my knowledge there's no standalone that will run a auto transmission other than a USDM 2jzgte non vvti with a aem 30-6100?

Any input to assist me chose will be greatly appreciated.

If you're just after 500ish hp, grab either the 1JZ or 2JZ and take the BPU route. This has been documented by literally thousands of JZ cars and have been very reliable. Just grab a piggy back to rid of fuel/boost cut, speed limiter etc and you'll be set.
