Need help with hesitation at 1900 rpm...still
Hello,
I have intermittent hesitation/engine bogging at around 1900rpm. It does it only after the car is up to temp and there are no CELs, here is what I have done already to try and solve problem and nothing has worked:
Had ECU rebuild
fuel filter
Replaced both cam sensors
Replaced plug wires
Replaced both ignition coils (this helped somewhat)
What should I try next? has anyone had similar problem?

You've addressed the most likely culprits. Other things to try are cleaning the IACV and MAF (read up on the early ones), and calibrating the TPS. People have suggested O2 sensors, but I wouldn't bank on that being the case.
It's odd that you mentioned the coils helping somewhat, as they're what I would guess is the cause. If they didn't help at all, then they wouldn't be to blame. But them helping somewhat makes me think they were and still are problematic. Did you swap new or used ones, OEM or aftermarket? What plug wires did you use?

T2d2 to the rescue again! Thank you, I used the cheapest coils I could find on ebay. What coils do you suggest? Im going to seafoam the car today and put old coils back on later to see if it was just my imagination...will do all things suggested with MAF and study up on tps

Seafoam really helped...which has me thinking that my tps and iac probably needed cleaning. It did it only twice after 20 miles of driving with me constantly trying to make it in that 1800 to 1900 range.
Its now at the point to where its hardly noticable....when it did bog on this recent road test it wasnt like it use to, i pulled the PCV hose and let it drink 3/4 of a can!
So my next driving test will be with the old coils I saved...Im going to put those on and see if it makes things worse....if so...the generic QTY brand ignition coils I got are the new culprit.
....This is terribly familiar of my MR2 Turbo days...the only rotor you can use on an MR2 turbo is the OEM Toyota rotor....must be a toyota thing

Sounds like you're making progress. There's no cleaning of the TPS to be done, but cleaning the throttle body would be worthwhile if you haven't already. I've got no experience with Prestolite plug wires. I stick to NGK or Denso and have never had any issues.
As to the coils, I didn't yet know those were the cause of my (and many others') hesitation issues, so I swapped them with a used OEM set as an experiment. That worked perfectly, so I had no reason to try aftermarket ones. I think I might have another set of used OEM's if you decide that's needed and can't find any locally.

Well its not the coils I dont think anymore. T2D2 how do you suggest I clean the MAF?
Also, I no longer have a PPS valve for my powersteering...do you guys suggest I just cap off where the hoses connected on the intake and intake tube or run a hose connecting the two? I ran a hose connecting the two and no change was noticed on my road test.
Should the T/C OFF light on the dash be flashing very fast when I check for codes connecting TE1 to E1?
I am not using a Toyota Cap and Rotor...has anyone had a bad experience with using aftermarket cap and rotor?
If it were a partially clogged cat I would have a code right?
I know that is a million questions but I am back to the drawing board and car has been like this for 7 months

Just an update:
Switched spark plugs to Bosch Double Platinums
Corrected all vacuum lines with 5/16th Gates lines and put correct size clamps
Sprayed some carb cleaner down EGR and EGR Diaphram
Checked grounds and added a ground from engine to strut tower bolt
ICMs still in mail
Removed hood liner to try to make space for more air
No change on test drive...accept it takes a little longer for things to get hot under the hood.
Ive concluded from all the driving that something is getting faulty when it gets hot under the hood
Are there any ignition related parts other than coils,plugs,plug wires, ICMs ???

Ordered 4 Computer cables for 5 bucks from a neighboring state it should be here soon.
You know I've got an extra rotor set...im going to switch out.
Do you trust any other brand other than oem for the rotor?
