can u remove diff without dropping drive shaft?
I've got a rear diff cover leak and want to pull it. I'll likely do shaft seals while I'm there and any other stuff that makes sense.
My exhaust flanges at the cats aren't super great. Dropping the shaft involves removing that section of exhaust which I'd like to avoid.
Can I get the diff out without removing the drive shaft? Manual says no but I'm thinking I maybe able to drop it enough to slide it back off the drive shaft.
anyone?

I pulled the rear cradle from my parts car today. For my driver I may just pull the cradle instead of wrestling with the diff under the car.
I'd like a Limited slip or maybe a torsen to throw in there. I understand it's just an open diff back there stock?
