Default 5 speed short throw shifter

If anyone has a short throw shifter on their 5 speed (pre 95 I think it needs to be, I have a 93), please let me know as I am interested in installing one.

Has anyone had any experience with these?

Mine just came in last week. The guy took forever to ship it. Not a bad price though. I won't have a chance to install it until the end of July though. And I want to get some times with the stock shifter first for comparison to see if a short throw shifter actually does help. I suppose everyone is different but race cars actually have longer shifters for less travel from the steering wheel. But we will see. The piece looks like it will do the job just fine. But it has not been installed yet. I will have a how to at the site.

AWJ, you have a 95 5-speed right? I think tggoodrich is looking for a pre-95 short shifter which I am in the understanding that there is not one made that will fit pre-95 5-speeds.

So Tggoodrich, I don't think there is a pre-95 short shifter for our 5-speeds... that I know of.
