On my passenger side the upper plastic wheel that the window regulator cable rides on broke. Is there any way to replace just that plastic wheel? I hate to spend 200 bucks on a new regulator and have had no luck finding a used one for cheap either.

Seems like something could be put in that wheels place and work maybe.

My poor passenger door has been a mess for years I'd love to get it working fully again. I have a bent door accuator rode that I been putting off messing with too.

I don't believe so, I ended up buying hte entire regulator from a junkyard for around 30 bucks.

It'd be nice to have a bunch of bronze wheels and sliders made up, along with replacement cables. I just pulled apart my parts car and got a good passenger regulator. Drivers side had a broken cable and worn beat up sliding block. I have a backyard machinist who I use for small jobs. This thread has inspired me to look into this.

Machining a bunch of replacement wear parts doesn't seem particularly difficult. Re riveting the wheel or some sort of low profile bolting could be a pill.

I'll update if I come up with anything.

Nope. You have to replace the whole regulator. I got both my motors and regulators from partsgeek.

i was thinking about how to attach a replacement wheel, I'm not sure how much room is there but I'm sure a short bolt would do, it can't be That tight in there can it?
