You don't have to forfeit Cruise-Control :)
I've installed an aftermarket steering wheel (Sparco L360), and since I want my Lexus to remain a Lexus, I wasn't willing to make any sacrifices ... So I've developed a way to retain the OEM horn, and Cruise-Control switch. You don't need a special hub with buttons, nor to install your own new buttons, and you don't have to forfeit Cruise altogether.
What you must must be willing to do however, is adapt your steering wheel a little bit. That's all. However if you ask me, it's totally worth it
These are where the screws mounted. I clipped those holes off with tin-snips; so it was easier to Dremel away.
Mount steering-wheel; epoxy into place, and clamp for 24hrs.

You guys, I'm surprised.
I really thought this post was gonna get a lot more traction, lol.
I mean, I've searched around, and while I've seen people with cruise-control, nobody's done it with the original module. They either had to re-wire things, and be limited to on/off only, or they forfeited cruise altogether. Same goes for the horn.
Has anybody else installed an aftermarket wheel and retained all their OEM features, in the same location???
