Door is closed. But dash says otherwise
Recently my SC has been thinking my driver door is open when its not. Which is annoying obviously for a few reasons. And also because my alarm won't arm.
I have done the standard things like lube the latch and what not.
I have looked around to see if i can find a switch that would be tripped by an open door and I don't see anything obvious.
Any help would be much appreciated.

If your door switch is good (pressing it firmly by hand and cluster light is still on) , then it is more likely you have a bad Integration Relay found at the back of the fuse box on your driver side foot well.
I have seen that go bad a number of times that the cluster lights give wrong indications.

I had the same exact problem. I have a thread around here somewhere... I ended up replacing the door actuator and the problem still persisted. Im going to try searching for what Gerrb is describing next..

The way I test that is I open the door , get a screw driver , push that door latching mechanism to simulate door closing . That gauge light should go off . Then I just push the door latch mechanism back out. The system itself senses that through the detterent ECU . The 10amp dome fuse will provide power to the gauge door light that is connected to the integration relay if the system sees that a door is open. That is the reason the first suspect is usually the integration relay . That is the first component that gauge door light is connected aside from the power source coming from the 10amp dome fuse.
