Default 1jzgte Wiring Reroute in SC300

Hi everyone, I had a quick question for those who have made the 1jzgte swap into the sc300 (Vvti or non).

With the wiring harness I know there are multiple options: Extend and repin, or get new harness (dr tweak for example). Had anyone ever rerouted it through a new hole in the firewall? I found this article for swaps in the Supra, and I was curious if anyone proceeded this way, as I searched and didn't find anything.

Heres the link:

let me know.

Thanks
