Suggested Adjustable Cam Settings?
I re-purchased my 92 SC3 5speed after the guy I sold it to broke it some how....
The bottom end is fine but the head was trashed, so I got a new one that is slightly ported and polished with all new OEM spec valve train. Along with the new HG, water-pump etc, I am installing new aluminum pulleys, switched to IS300 e-fans, EGR delete, and will be installing HKS cam gears. I have read that adjustable cam gears have the ability to net some minimal (8-10) hp gain, so any of you guys that are using them on stock cams, what are yours set at? Im not going to dyno the car or be racing it for that matter, but it would be nice to add a little bit more peep in its step.
