Default Powerhouse Racing 1jz IACV

I need a new IACV and came across Powerhouse Racing IACV for the 1j. Was wondering if anybody is running this and did they have to modify it to work. Was this plug and play? I see some people selling used IACV but they want the same price as a brand new PHR. I would rather spend 160 on a brand new one and a piece of mind that it will work than spend on a used one and hope it works. . But if you do have a used one and its under 100 let me know.

Are you talking about the Ford valve conversion?

I have it installed but unhooked. My car was surging with it connected. We never sorted it out so it is still unhooked. We have to do something in the tune and verify the wiring again. There is a guy at PHR that can help I'm sure. He knows it pretty well.

thats pretty much what happens when i plug up the stock one. so i have it unplugged. When you start your car in the mornings do you have to mash the gas for it to start and stay idle for a few mins?
