hey all, especially those that live in California, does anyone know if the 5Zigen Fireball Megas axlebacks on an SC300 will pass the smog check in CA? not many threads mention these exhausts and none of them mention the smog check.. i'm still new to cars so i'm taking any precautions with aftermarket accessories

You can pass smog. With CA, you can touch everything up to the cat.

In the future, all you have to ask is if the part you are looking for has a CARB approval number. That will tell you if what you are wanting to do will be passable or not.

Passing smog shouldn't be an issue with the fireballs since it is only an axleback. It wouldn't be hard to swap back to your stock mufflers if it was an issue. All you need is a floor jack, some basic hand tools, and wd-40.
