what kinda clutch, and places to buy it online...
 

i have a stock 95 sc300 5 speed, today my stinking clutch went through its last day and is no longer drivable....

I want to get a new clutch, that isnt just the stock clutch, i am going to do some light modding like exhaust, safc, and maybe a little spray and such, so i wanna get something a little more heavy duty but nothing that costs 800 dollars or anything...

Horsepowerfreaks.com has the ACT or RPS plate combined with their sprung hub Bronze disk. I haven't gotten mine installed yet, but it should be here within a week. Its claims are: RPS plate +10% clamping force, ACT plate +35%. The HPF Bronze 6 puck disk is supposed to be ok. for cars with 700+rwhp, so I'd imagine it could hold anything with an SP66 turbo or smaller. Their on-line price is $599 for the kit. You may be able to do better by calling them directly. Ths clutch is supposed to be slippable, but it will probably still chatter and have very quick engagement. These are strip/street clutched---very aggressive.

while that is a good suggestions, have no plans for anything over 400 hp or so, so i think that may be a bit extreme, i will still consider it though, thankyou.

any other places guys?
