98 Lexus SC400 Resonator Delete
First and foremost, I'm fairly new to this Club Lexus, so if there's already a thread about this, I'm sorry mods.
I have a stock 98 SC400 that I absolutely love. It's completely stock, and the biggest thing I want to change about it is the exhaust. I want something that is throatier than the stock exhaust, but can get loud at high revs. From my research I think the easiest thing for me is to delete the 3rd bosal cat that I have circled in red. My stepdad who was a career mechanic said that he thinks it would be best if we cut off the resonators.
What are you opinions on this? And recommendations?

Hey!
First of all, Welcome to ClubLexus
I saw videos floating around of the stock SC with a resonator delete on youtube and it was decent for a cheap job. If you look it up, you will see too. I was originally going to do that just because all the exhaust setups I liked were so pricey (ex: Fireball... omg so nice!)
Anyways I ended up getting a Tanabe Medalion Axleback exhaust and it was a bit too quiet for my taste. I was going for a deep tone too. I ended up doing a resonator delete and now it's perfect. If you're just doing a resonator delete, I think you will be satisfied.
Btw if you go straight pipe, please upload LOL. I wanna hear that.
