Searched, no dice. Where is best place to add an additional coolant sensor

Default Searched, no dice. Where is best place to add an additional coolant sensor

Added some gauges and need to install the sensor for the water temp.

Sorry, forgot to add 2JZGE engine.

either go online and buy the coolant pipe that goes goes in between where you would cut the radiator hose in two and install it there. the sensor than installs into it. very simple install. or go to lowes or home depot and buy a large brass "T" that the hoses attach to on each end. and use a brass npt reducer that goes down to the 1/8th inch diameter the sensor probably is. good luck

There is a small threaded spot on each side of the engine. It's under the header. I don't know the thread or size of it off hand.

If you are running a GTE motor, and not using the coolant recirc lines on the waterneck for the turbo(s), then you can drill and tap them for 1/4NPT and use a bushing down to 1/8" if necessary. This is how I did it: (note, you don't have to cut it for what you are doing lol)
