r155 transmission a new solution to r154

tacoma 2005-2014 5speed r155 transmission anyone here running one? i have a friend who is finishing up his r155 into a sc300 and i wanted your guys opinion? for it to work you need to use a jz bellhousing swap out the input shaft new input and output bearings for the shifter part you can use a soarer tail shaft that is already extended or use a mk3 with extended shifter :)

This is pretty sweet guys. Pretty cool to know the driftmotion forks fit on it, and it looks like just that tail shaft length difference and bell housing to tie it all together. I wonder if its power capabilities are worth anything. Does anyone have a parts list for one of these R155's. I am curios to see if they have most of the same part numbers internally as a R154.

The gears are a lil more thicker then r154 and no thrust washer for 1st gear like r154 ;)

But remember guys you will need to run a lower rear ratio with the r155 but that is no problem for us
