so the motor has 173k on it, perfect compression but for some reason when i get on the gas it loud but doesn't pull hard. When i bought the motor from the guy he said he changed the spark plugs not long ago but to be quite honest i never bothered to pull or check them. Could it be possibly due to bad spark plugs? of course i'd have to pull them out which i will do tomorrow morning, any other things i need to check out?

well you might mean the coils but if those were bad i'd imagine the car to be misfiring which it isn't, just feels slow

^My SC had a bad ignition coil and it ran smoothly. Just was really hard to accelerate, took a really long time, and got 9MPG's.

yea? maybe i can hit the junkyard this week and get some to see if anything changes
