Default FFIM with LS400 or GE?

Found this being sold for a good price and seller stated its a direct bolt on for a 2jzgte vvti throttle body. Would there be issues if I wire up my existing tps or iacv?

Question What throttle body

I have seen similar products and am currently trying to find a ffim for a 2jzge. It is a pain in the butt to know what is good for the money. Also, what will still wok and what will not when the throttle body is changed. Anyone have a explain action as to what can be done to ensure cruise control etc will remain functional or what can be used in place of stock tb?

I always figure on the cheaper eBay manifolds as long as the runners and ports are smooth and matchup with gaskets it should work just fine. It may not be a super high flowing one but its certainly more efficient than the several extra feet of NA-T routed piping. That being said the GTE manifolds are NOT bolt on to a GE head so you'd have to get your GE runners welded to it, if you didn't already know that. I couldn't comment on the 2JZ VVTi throttle bodies but I'm pretty sure there are 2 types, one is drive by wire and I can almost be certain in saying you don't want that one having the GTE ECU MOD.

what is your setup, thats a weird question cause the vvti throttle body doesn't have a iacv as its electronic. you would have to keep the vvti ecu and throttle body and you can bolt that up to a ffim yes, read this
http://my.is/forums/f221/diy-kinda-i...alysis-363346/

if you were doing the tt ecu mod and using an older style tt ecu (non vvti), then you would need to convert to the old kind of throttle body but you would likely loose obd2.

I've been researching for the past hour. I'll be using 2.5 inch intercooler piping, so I'm wondering the same thing. My car has no trac. control nor cruise con.

I would like to purchase the XS Power ffim because of the price but I'm concerned how I would be able to bolt the stock GE TB to it. Is there a flange I can purchase to bolt them together?

If I do purchase the XS ffim i'm guess I need a flange. Something like this?
