Default SC400 power steering pump leak

Mine started leaking badly all of a sudden. I think where it seems to be leaking from is unusual, as well. Facing the pump, upper right, right next to the cambelt cover(so you can't get at that point), bolt sits in a recess...pouring out. Any body have a clue if I can solve this with a seal or something?

Thanks Guys,

John

My email is updated aqnd works....had an expired address in there.

And it looks like I got your "chery". Good solid advice and great instructions in that link.

I have talked to a couple mechs and they confirmed that there is a simple "O" ring under a spring seat that has failed. This is a used pump and it had seen a lot of use when I got it so the advice is that all the seals are dried out from age and the pump needs rebuilt. The first leak took out the alternator by saturating the brushes and that made them little cutting tools that destroyed the commutator. This time the alternator is flooded again so I guess I will have to get it rebuilt again. I guess I am answering my own question but I am smarter since I first posted this problem.

Thanks again EMU,

John
