I have a 1995 lexus sc300 with the stock na 2jz motor in it however I will be swapping in a 2jzgte soon. My problem is a went ahead and replaced the stock fuel pump with a denso tt fuel pump and now when i start the car it runs for about 5 seconds then completely loses power and dies. Is it simply because I need to do the 12v mod? shouldnt the fuel pressure regulator and injectors balance out the higher pressure from the tt fuel pump? Help need ASAP!!

Go back to the stock pump. Check that the jza80 pump is properly installed . Or perhaps debris in the injector or lines.

It turns out it was that I simply needed to do the 12v mod! I called cam from tweakd and he said that on the is300s they almost always have to do the mod or else it will continue to die. Problem solved thanks anyways

Yep exactly in order for the Supra TT fuel pump to turn on you will need to do the 12v mod....
