Hello,
Have platinum metallic 97 sc400 with perfect paint except for the spoiler which has swirls and fading as shown in pics. Have been quated $150 for a repaint from local shop but is there another method to correct this issue judging by the pics.
Suggestions/ideas/expertise is much appreciated.

Is that just the clear coat fading/bubbling? You might be able to wet sand and re-clear it for $5. Worst case scenario, that doesn't look good and you do the repaint, anyway.
