Anyone in the Dallas area know how to install a 1997 cluster into a 1995 SC300? I have cash!

I have a cluster and pigtails already I just don't understand wiring diagrams and all that mess. People say its easy and that it only takes a lot of time but when I look at these diagrams i'm lost. I was hoping I could just pay someone to put it in

Do you have the diagrams, don't get it wrong cause I ask but have you taken the cluster out before.
If you have diagrams, maybe I can help. I'm in the Dallas metroplex.

Diagrams of both gauge clusters and Info you need is on this build thread starting at post #2715. If you know how to solder, you should be able to do it.

Are the pin outs the same from 1992 to 1995?
If the wires serve the same functions on both 1992 and 1995 clusters then I could do this no problem

Nope. Basically there are differences between almost every year. I'm in the middle of my 92 car>98 harness>97 cluster swap right now. It's not pretty.
The plugs are fairly different between the 92 to 97 changes and the wire colors are even more variable.

I was curious to see the difference so I compared the wiring diagrams, year to year from 1992 - 2000 SC300 / SC400 . There is no big difference on the 1992 and 1995 cluster diagram . Just a couple of pins . Even most of the pins numbering are same.. I will post the 1995 Cluster wiring diagram later on my build thread so you can compare for yourself . They are basically the same .

To avoid confusion, trace the circuits instead of relying on wiring colors. There you will find lots of differences in actual wiring color used , year to year.

EDIT : 1995 cluster wiring diagram is now up on post # 2715 of my build thread.
