I broke a tranny mount bolt, Where can I order a new one?

I just realized today that a tranny mount bolt broke off inside the transmission. This really sucks:cry: I just changed it 500 miles ago and must have over-torqued it or something. Does anyone know where I can order these bolts from? I"m going to replace all them as they weren't in the best of shape to begin with.

Getting it out of the tranny is going to suck as well:egads:.

One of my bolts got a little chewed up because of a misaligned brace. I finally ground the hole out a bit and it went in easily, but not until damaging the threads slightly from continually spinning against the jagged protrusion. I looked around for a replacement bolt, including on the Sewell parts sheets, and never could find anything. Good luck!

p.s. You didn't specify SC3 or SC4... I imagine the bolts are the same, but as I recall the mounts are different, so who knows.

Sewell has them, part number is, 90119-08770. I only know this because one of my bolts broke trying to change the tranny mount, so I only have 3 bolts holding it in. Sucks, and I don't know why I keep forgetting this. I have the bolt laying in front of me as a constant reminder, but keep forgetting to get it looked at.

I looked up that part number and it jogged my memory... I was talking about the non-captive bolt for the brace (14mm head, 1.25" thread length), not the one for the mount itself. So yeah, the OP has the easy one to find the replacement for.

Yeah it's the one that holds the mount in. It's for my 1999 sc400, thanks for looking parts up though:thumbup:.

Get a bolt extractor set, if you don't already have one. They're a life saver for that sort of thing. It won't be a ton of fun to try to line it up with limited space for drilling under the car, unless you can get it up on a lift for more room to work. It would also help if you can flip the car upside down for a day or two to let some PB Blaster soak into the threads. :)

Thanks for the info... I'm going to pick up some extractor bits this weekend. I have a couple, but might as well get a set. Yeah i will be working with limited space since all I have is ramps and jacks.
