Default shift solenoid connector

im following the steps in the toyota transmission diagnosis guide and it says:

"With ignition off, disconnect electrical connector for solenoids from rear of transmission."

i disconnected the connector the furthest back on the transmission next to the pan. but the car wont start now (im assuming thats the wrong one.)

does anyone know which connector it is? Or do I have to drop the pan and manualy disconnect each solenoid? the way its worded the guide leads me to believe that theres only 1 main connector i need to disconect...
