Default sc400 shifter stuck in park!!!

Fuses good
didn't spill anything
brake lights work
taillights work
I was doing a gated shifter swap and the gated shifter didn't work so I hooked up the dildomatic and it didn't work when I tried again after I blew a fuse I replaced it and still nothing...
What other fuses should I look for or relays......If I jump the connector I hane hear it click but by hitting the pedal it wont work....could the brake pedal still cause that even though the lights work still?// someone help me out please

Not sure what electrical prob you might have, but if you put the old shifter back in like it was originally, try the park overide release, which is located to the upper left corner of the shifter slot, it may still have the rectangular plastic plug in it. Then take a phillips screw driver & insert in hole & push down as you release your shifter out of park. If this doesn't work you'll need to go back to square one & re-inspect your installation to make sure it's correct. There is a few threads on here dealing with the electrical features about this problem.

Last guy had a pair of pliers jamming his shifter, left from previous owner. I'll check my manual & see what I can find.
