Default How to by pass the safety switch

I have a knee operation and I have to push hard on my left to start the car
Any idea how to bypass or make the switch longer
In addition any idea how to make the clutch softer like my other car 95 corolla
Thanks

Question 1: get under there, disconnect the two wire plug from the switch on the clutch pedal bracket and complete the circuit in some way. I've seen cars run for several years with A piece of wire half assed crammed in, I'd solder or use a butt connector.

Question 2: trade the car for something with a softer clutch or an auto version.

I can attest to the several years with a piece of wire half @%@% crammed in there, I just took a small piece of wire and stripped both ends and stuck each on into a side of the clutch switch. then to keep it from moving/backing out over the years I wrapped it up tight in electrical tape. I Did not want to do a permanent solder job but you could use a butt connector or splice connectors even its just for starting the car.

there is a large spring on the clutch pedal that I have heard can be removed to make it softer, but I haven't tried it myself. I was planning on it as there was a thread that said the stiff spring can actually snap the clutch pedal over time, but haven't gotten to doing it yet.
