I have the puller it will not budge and keeps breaking the bolts. I have pried on it tapped with hammer heated with torch and soaked in pb blaster it still will not budge. Someone please help!!!

So you've removed the crank pulley bolt, and the physical crank pulley itself won't slide forward with the crank pulley removal tool? Make sure the bolts are perfectly even in the tool, I remember the bolts on my crank pulley removal tool bending because they weren't even when I was removing the crank pulley. Once I got them even it started coming out, but I imagine they probably would've broken if I kept going with them uneven.

Yes I am following that video exactly this is not the first time I've done this. The bolts are straight and even its like something has it locked up.

You need the long 12mm bolts off you intake manifold and it will come right off, ive taken off over 50 crank pulleys with that method.

So take the intake manifold bolts and put them in the pulley with the puller?

That's definitely really weird, the intake manifold bolts are exceedingly long so you could probably use them, but I don't see why you "need" to use them to do this, I'd be worried about breaking those bolts too as there may be another problem that needs to be addressed, but I've only ever done this once before, so maybe 99SC42 has more experience than me.

OK so tried that. The pulley is so stuck that the puller just ripped the bolts right through the holes and bent them to where now they won't go back into manifold.

Oh no lol, you have to screw them all the way in , and you will feel them touching the lower timing cover.

I have some bolts for the intake, where are you located? you can come pick them up for free.

I just can't understand why this thing is so stuck. The pulley itself is defective I just put it on 2 weeks ago and now its in 3 pcs. I'm switching to the lightweight obx upgrade if I ever get this one off.

I'm in va.and they were touching the timing cover.this pulley is junk I wish I could get the rest of it to break and crumble as easy as the threaded holes are.

No no No , you do not want an obx, it will destroy your engine in couple minutes....You don't wanna do that.

If you want something that will not break and last you , get the ati damper.
