picked up a 98 sc400 and the codes are p0441 evaporative control system incorrect purge , p0446 evaporative emission control system vent control , p0135 o2 bank 1. anyways I have a feeling it 1 issue causing all 3. and I don't want to just throw parts at it. where should I start what should I test? thanks for your info

Not exactly sure what an 'evaporative control system' is but I'm gonna guess it's one of your cats? Especially with the bad O2 sensor, I believe those are plugged into the exhaust just after the cats (which could explain the bad reading). It might be as simple as replacing one of your catalytic converters, but a real mechanic will be able to tell you sure.
