Default Weird starter issues

So recently my car was doing the single click when starting.

So the other day, I replaced the contacts. Reinstalled the starter, and it was starting fine.

Come the next morning, the car wouldn't start the single click is back. I borrow a car to get to work, come back home during the afternoon and the car starts no problem.

I remember not cleaning the starter plunger, so I ordered a new one.

I was wondering, should I take it all apart, clean and lube everything, resolver all the joints, install new plunger and reinstall it or should I just buy a new starter?

I'm asking due to this is my daily and I might possibly be selling it.

Thanks
