So I have a 92 SC400 and for some reason 2nd gear just lags so much its crazy 1st and 3rd and so on are great but 2nd gear so bad. I was wondering if anyone had a idea what might be wrong with it. I did a tranny service and found out the old owner had over filed it by almost 3qt so I changed it and filled it up right but still the same feeling. So if anyone could shine some light on this it would really help.

I was thinking 1jz swap with 5 speed but that will be next year for me

 

I have the same issue! Almost feels like it’s going from 1st to 3rd. Did you ever figure it out?
