Default Cluster problem

Ever since I removed my engine and did a swap my cluster lights and needles stop lighting up.
The only thing that works is the fuel and temp readings. it does show the door light open and other small things like signals

when you turn the key to acc I see the backlights flash for a sec, thats about it

any ideas? is there a ecu or something that controls the cluster at all?

update, its not just the cluster I find is the problem, whenever I put the key in, the steering wheel goes all the way up.
when its in ACC the seats dont move but if i have the key out the seats moves fine

everything works like normal other then that

when i unplug the center plug on the cluster it seems like that what controls the steering wheel and seat? like a memory is stored in the cluster

Did you jump the resistor on the back....R109....I believe this is only for the tachometer.....

What harness are you using?

When I did my swap I got every gauge on the cluster to work minus the speedometer and odometer....

I have traced all the wires and they are correct, put in a new speed sensor, ran new wires, etc....

I still am unable to get the speedometer to work...it just stays at 0

yes its jumped but the cluster was not working before this after i replaced the bulbs and jumped

all i get is when you turn the key, a flash of the cluster and the steering wheel loses the memory and the seats stop moving, really wierd

The steering wheel and seat memory sounds like what happens when you disconnect the battery. I would guess you have the wiring to something reversed, so putting the key in is actually cutting power to those items.
