Default T56 Swap kits....

Idk if this has been posted but I was looking for R154 stuff for my 1UZ then came across this link.

T56 Swap Kits
http://rushimports.com.au/store/index.php?cPath=20

I'm thinking of emailing them to get more info and see if this is still avail. If so for the price and all you get it may be a good option.

The appeal that it was supposedly cheaper than a V160 and stronger than a R154 but with the adapter kit above the cost is well into V160 price range.

4k for a t56 kit that doesn't even include a t56?!?!?!?

Used t56's can be found for under 1k used but paying 5k for a trans good for MAYBE 650hp is not a good deal at all..

I wish someone would piece together a more price effective kit. Someone was selling the bellhousing adapter for less than 300 a while ago. Those other bits can't add up to THAT much more even with a twin plate clutch.

actually now that I think about it, that kit costs more than my ls1/t56 did with shipping...if you want a t56, order it with an ls1 and do the swap...otherwise, just stick with the v160.

a T56 is not nearly as sweet as a getrag v160/161...

not even close.

google image search for the internals of both of them. the getrag is a total beast.
