I have a 1993 that continues to give me a code 52 and go into some kind of limp mode when the car heats up. Mainly stock, car only has a radio, short ram intake, resonator delete, and coils. A lot of repair work has been done to the car in hopes of fixing this problem. I’ve owned the car for two years now, and it’s sitting at 92k miles. This is the list of everything done to the car under my ownership. Battery, alternator, and a radiator when the car was bought. When I started having this CEL52 issue the distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires, Fuel filter, knock sensors, pig tails, (from denso) and the ECU, cluster, climate control all rebuilt by tanin. One big issue I’m facing is no scanners communicating with the OBD1. I’m out of ideas for fixing this car, and I’m looking for suggestions and help from people who truly understand these cars because there are no Lexus specialist in my area.

Send us your name or order details so we can look up the information on your rebuild. Sometimes the knock sensor fault is hard to locate/replicate/repair, but may exist in the ECU.
