On the motor side, the following connectors are different

Water temp sensor
Coil pack connectors
injectors
I also believe the solenoid resistor connector is missing on the jdm harness as the jdm has high impedace and don't require the resistor.
Also there is no connector for the airflow sensor, the jdm uses a map sensor

I'm sure I missed some things, but hope that helps

First, here are the ecu terminals of the TT:

http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/...ecm/index.html

Next, go to this web site to get you started on the JDM differences:

If the mkiv link doesn't work, go to www.mkiv.com, "specifications", "1995 repair manual", "terminals of ecu".

JDM vs US 2jzgte ecu and harness
i recenlty found a source on getting the enitre front clip with 30k miles shipped to me from a mkiv TT 6spd supra. i was wondering if anyone knows if there is a big difference in their ecu and harness as far as the swap into a 5spd SC goes. i know the motor is rated at a little less hp but the price seems right. i want to know if im getting myself into something where as i should just get the US version. anyone know ??? thanks

sorry mods, i just noticed this thread. if you get the complete jdm harness and ecu, would you have to modify?

i'm working w/ a jdm front clip. to use the harness you have to extend the harness to the other side of the firewall (if you want to do it properly). If you can get a jdm front clip for a REALLY good price, i say do it. If your only saving around a grand, don't.
