idle surge problem
I have a 1992 SC400 Lexus and all of a sudden the car starting having idle surge, car starts up but idles at 6 then down to 1 on its own, anyone have this problem and what should I do about it. Please help with any suggestions or any experience you may have had with this issue.

Welcome to CL. your thread has been moved to the performance/maintenance sub forum.
Likely you lost a coil or have a bad ecu. do a search for sc400 and coil that is the most common issue.
on the sc400 there are 2, and it will involve checking both to see if either is bad by unplugging them one at a time and seeing if it makes a difference. that one that makes no difference is the bad one.
