sc300 tighten crankshaft pully bolt without special toyota tool
Use the old serpentine belt...
Tuck it in and wrap it around the crank pulley wheel...
With the other side looped around the water pump as close as you can get it to the block...
Turn the pully bolt clockwise to tighten the belt
Cut a piece of wood to length to support the water pump as you torque the pulley bolt
Drill hole to match the pegs on the water pump if you want, that match the Fan attachment studs
Torque it to specs

this is my second timing belt ...
to a PT Cruiser basic (hell)
Also helps to have a master mechanic next door that loans a ton of tools and wisdom...
BTW...he called it a Macgyver as well when he saw it.
