Default power steering questions

My car will be going under the knife soon and part the project is to fix the power steering leak. since I'll be having to replace the stock cooling lines because of the FMIC i figured i'd just get a -6AN fluid cooler and call it done.

Can someone confirm my idea will work? Here the circuit as I understand it:

reservoir to pump (PHR relocate kit)
pump to steering rack (build my own high pressure line or just order the drift motion line)
steering rack to cooler (DM has fittings for rack to AN) use regular SS hose 6AN
cooler to reservoir (regular AN hose) 6AN

that is the proper sequence correct? only the pump to rack line is high pressure?

thanks for any insight!

i have a question that is different about the power steering, mines just making a whiny noise and theres a vibration in the wheel when i turn it a lot, tiny vibration. the power steering levels are fine last time i checked. so is the pump just going out? it's been replaced in the past 2 years though??? any ideas?

DTrizzle, driftmotion sells replacement lines that bolt up for about 65 bucks. You lose the vac up idle and variable power steering but they're not big deals. Consensus if you're not modifying anything is just to have a hose shop replace the leaking/blown portion of the line. There's also a thread here about making your own.

oMT, im not sure on that one. whine is either low fluid or it needs bled. i could see it being bad too and i could see that causing some vibration. hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in for us.

From what i can tell my idea will work and i'll find out for sure either late this month or early next when the car goes under the knife. I've ordered the fittings for it all.
