Default 5000rpm cut off on WOT.

SC300 2jz-gte swapped

strange cut of 5000rpm I`m getting on full load,
on every gear (auto box)
even box does not shift up while that.

engine can be revved to 6500rpm while on park or neutral.

any ideas ??

He means that he can't rev past 5k rpm, and the computer doesn't upshift while he remains on the throttle since it is waiting until its shift point.

Sounds like fuel to me. Probably the filter. My 240 used to do this often and needed to change filter because the tank was contaminated.

Try depin ecu pin 76 nsw park/neutral position sensor. I had a similar issue it would act like its hitting a rev limiter at 5k rpm. After removing that pin my car no longer does it.

yes, my connectors seen better days,
but iˇm not sure if that could be the problem

if iˇm not in full throttle then i can accelerate with out 5k rpm cut up to 6500rpm.

but i doubt that any one is interested in those with a bone stock car with
sc300 exhaust, needed for inspection.
