Ok, So as it sits I am getting 23MPG out of my SC, But i'm going to improve that. This will be a drawn out hunt of mine to improve without sacrificing power. I am doing this not just for MPG, but to increase efficiency in a manner that's doable on a easy basis. I welcome all comments, good or bad.

Car: 1992 SC400, Auto
Mods: only lighter 18's(G35's),Tannabee NF210's, and Magnaflows. These may not effect very much. But I'm stating it anyway.

Base Line: 22-23 HWY MPG Mostly 70MPH Insterstate

Mods being performed:

BFI
Port Match Intake manifolds
Wide Band Kit(don't want to go to lean!!. Plus I'm juicing later)
Adjustable FPR
Small Fuel Cooler- 4 pass Trans cooler( to most this might be a WTF or WHY thing. Hey I wanna try)
Trans-Go HD2(more of a fun factor, but may improve or make worse)
Proper Trans Cooler
2-1/4 exhaust, X pipe, Magnaflows

These Mods are more performance, but not extreme. And I will post MPG as I install. Only parts not purchased yet is exhaust. I'm not looking to get 30MPG out of it. But 25-27MPG is my goal. If i fail, Oh Well. it's going to be more fun to drive. Most of this everyone does anyway, but Never states if there MPG goes up or down, so here is a thread.

Definitely want to know the outcome of this! Even if I have an sc300 I'm sure I can take away some useful information since your V8 is getting more mpg already lol Good luck, hope you achieve your goal!
