Default Small Leak

I have a small coolant leak around the thermostat housing. After further investigation it seems the leak might be from a small hose at the bottom of the housing. Don't have a pic right now but this hose comes out of the driver side of the water inlet housing. Anyone know what this hose is called and where it goes to.

You need to give a lot more information than that.

Yeah, I'll dig deeper tomorrow and get a pic up. It was raining today and I was investigating with a flashlight in the garage.

When my engine thermostat went out it formed a small coolant leak on the underside of the thermostat housing.
Just something to think about, don't know if it's your problem or not

Thanks eknine9, If I can't figure anything out I think I will replace the housing.

I meant like does it have a straight 6 engine, or does it have a V8?

Doesn't matter wtf the hose is called, what it goes to, all that matters is if its leaking yank it off and replace it with a hose that doesn't leak.

Pro tip: when you're pulling the hose off, you should be able to determine where it goes. Probably to the iacv or tb or somewhere. Might as well replace the others too

Sorry guys it's a 400. Hose to throttle body and iacv are both good. This hose is below the thermostat intake. It looks like it may be a metal tube. I haven't been able to investigate because it is either raining like a ****** or cold as s.... here. It's a small leak that I can live with until the weather improves.
