Default Need speedo and tach help

Hey just put the aristo 2jzgte in and everything works except speedo and tach.
For the speedometer im pretty sure theres a problem sonewhere with the #2 speed sensor. The thing is, we tried 2 different sensors, same thing. Tested every wire and connection and even ran wires outside of harness directly. For this, im wondering if somethings not working because I dont have cruise control hooked up, I have heard they are connected somehow. Could this be my problem or does anyone else have any ideas?

For the tach, I know this is a problem for everyone. It may be a bad igniter im waiting to see if I can find another one, but besides the whole bypass the resistor thing is there anything else I can look out for everything appears to be correct just no needle movement on either.
Thanks.js

Tach you have to resistor bypass first. If it's running igniter is working and should put out rpm signal. If it's not working with bypass maybe a body harness issue where it goes from engine harness to cluster. Speedo should know about the cruise thing but it goes from speed sensor to the tach other speed sensor goes to ecu on autos. On manual cars one goes to both the order not sure.

Ok to drive with just the ecu speed sensor working? Will shift points and everything still be right? What else is there to try to get speedo working? It cant be the sensor.
