Default sequence for 1jz coil packs?

So im putting my coil packs back in and im sure im placing all 3 in the correct order but does it matter which direction the coil pack is put in?

So the one thats numbered 1 and 2 i put in the back closest to the transmissions. The 3 and 4 i put in the middle.but my last coil pack dosnt say 5 and 6. It says 3 and a symbol that looks like a i or maby a 1.

I can turn the coil pack 180° and it wil stil fit either way but does it matter? This were imgeting confused

Lmk il take pics

yes it does matter they are sequential coils. it will not run properly if you reverse on of the set, or swap sets.
it should be easy to tell if its running right or not then you will know its wrong but yes the order does matter on each coil.

The coil packs themselves can go in any order or orientation. The wiring plugs are the only things that have to be plugged up in a specific order, and their length makes it difficult to screw up.

Thank hatch ,thats exactly what i was thinking because there basically all the same, and didnt see a reason why itcouldnt go in any direction

And ya the connectors are lengthed to each coil so thats going to be plugged in correct. My issue was the actual coil pack lol. In a sense i guess its like putting in new plugs, dosnt matter which one goes in out of the pack because there the same.

Thanks again

This thread was beginning to make me wonder if I messed mine up in the correct order. I was thinking it didn't matter as long as the wiring was right.

sorry about the confusion I thought you meant turn around the coils and wires for some reason.
just the right lead has to go to the right coil, you can flip the coils around.
