Default Car dies when I use the turn signal. Help

Due to the nature of the issue I haven't gotten to do a lot of testin...so at freeway speed and city driving I'd hit the turn signal and lose the radio and most the cars power, but it never completely stalled. Once I got to the parts store I turned the signal on and it was normal. Hazards didn't cause any issue either. The battery, starter and alternator all checked out fine. None of said items are over a year old. Drove home without issue.

I'm thinking tomorrow I will be checking grounds. My questions are:

Is this an sc issue? Meaning is there a known issue with the ignition, column, or signal switch itself I should look into?

Are there any problem area grounds that are likely causing the issue?

Do you have friends that like to screw with you?

Reminds me of a prank I pulled years ago on a buddy with an old dodge truck. Let's just say every time he used his turn signal the horn would honk instead at the same speed as the flasher would. Hilarity ensued.

hooked up the horn on a buddys brakes.. best part was he diddnt use brakes at all leaving drive way but watched him goto the stopsign at the end of the steet it was like "BEEEEEEEEEEEP" hahaha good times. i instinctively use the brake pedal when starting a car probably a habbit from driving automatics.

anyways that sounds pretty crazy. obviously its something electrical. maybe a short or a relay is going bad. check wires and grounds. a volt meter would help to check the blinker lead and see what happens when you turn the blinker on.

If only the answer was so simple...I took a look at all the underhood grounds and they look fine. I should also mention it rained all day yesterday so I just drove the car without checking anything and it ran like a champ

There was a similar thread on this a few weeks ago. Also, try searching for "electrical ghosts".

The problem seems to have sorted itself out...I may need to look at my writing itself though
