And @sc4o0 which rubber gasket is good? Was just gonna go the toyota sealant, but a reg gasket sounds less messy lol.

Im assuming with an upper and lower pan gasket that the engine needs to be pulled. Also most likely the easiest way to do the front seal. What isnt easy is all the time its going to take to get the engine in and out. Hope no exhaust bolts snap. I need to reseal my 93 so bad but am only qualified to pull the engine, I would have the resealing done by a pro.

Jesus ****ing Christ! There are zero pan gaskets! Its called FIPG! Toyota form in place gasket! Its a silicon type sealant! If you don't know what you're talking about then don't talk! Whoever posted that picture of that bootleg gasket set, that's horrible. Always use factory Toyota/Lexus seals or you're asking for trouble

Wrong, you don't know wtf you are talking about, sir. I have seen it happen over time and have changed several oil pan gaskets on iron block engines because of using the paper gasket.
Use the toyota bond gasket sealant ONLY. NO paper.
Same goes for mitsu bond, honda bond etc.
Want to test it? Dip a piece of paper in some oil, watch the paper absorb the oil.
Now squeeze out a drop of gasket sealant from the tube and let it dry. Once dry dip it in oil. Wipe the oil and with a razor blade slice open the center of the sealant, it will be clean on the inside. Likewise on the outside of your engine where it mates to the pan the sealant will remain dry because it's made to resist oil. That's why it's called a SEALant.

Wrong again. We are posting facts. You are posting misinformation. Neither are opinions. If I hadn't have said anything to you, you wouldn't have deleted some posts. If you don't like people coming behind you and pointing out you don't know what you're talking about to prevent some people that might think that you do and waste time/money due to your lack of knowledge/experience, then YOU don't post.
