Default Fuel Starving under 1/4 tank

Have any of you noticed / had to deal with fuel starvation issues when your fuel level drops below 1/4 tank?

I've got a 1.5JZ and am making about 400trq... I've noticed especially in 2nd gear if my tank is low and I roll into power, the car just bucks like a bull. It doesn't happen in any other gear (1st is useless).

Is this a common thing for these cars after they start making powah?

look into your tank into the slosh bucket and you'll see where the dump tube is . when you accelerate , the fuel gets pushed towards the back .. i have 2 dumps into my slosh , one in front and one in the rear of slosh for this reason but rule of thumb especially if you are running big pumps and injectors to stay out of heavy boost with low level of fuel as running a pump semi dry will burn it up as the fuel itself is what keeps it cool

Jays car does the same thing. He has the Magna Flow pump 750, -8 feed lines and -6 return in his tank.

Are these "dump tubes" hard lines or rubber? Are they easy to position? I figure I'd ask now to get an idea before I open it up.
