Starting NA-T build need help with Aristo Trans Swap
Ok so I'm starting my NA-T build this weekend. The car is a 1992 sc300 with 151k miles with an auto trans. Drivetrain is in great shape, unfortunately I cant say the same about my door panels and drivers seat
For the build I have a T04E .50ar compressor .63 turbine with the manifold, WG, BOV, FMIC and piping. I will begin the build with changing out the stock HG with a OEM TT HG with some ARP studs.
I picked up some 550cc high imp injectors and am going to run a JDM aristo ECU (have everything for the COP setup/iat/map). I also picked up a AFC Neo so i wont be running too rich with the 550s.
I picked an aristo automatic transmission (I know some of you will hate) for the time being. I found a donor car and I am going to go get the rear end and driveshaft out of a SC400, from what I understand the tailshaft will match up with the aristo trans and the sc400 rear end will give me a better gear ratio.
This is where I need some help, from doing some research I do understand that the Aristo trans is electronically controlled and that the stock A340E in my car has a line pressure unit. one route is to swap the valve bodies but thats pointless since I will be running an Aristo ECU. What I need to know is What Wires will i need to run from the pins on the Aristo ECU to give the trans the proper signal also if you know what connector i need to get from toyota. Second I understand I need to lengthen the front part of the sc400 driveshaft, does anyone know by how much? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
