Let's keep the thread on target please. If anyone is interested in the cap, please PM him and keep the thread clean.

I am almost tempted to move this into the build section.

Any more work done?

Default progress is haulted

sorry no progress, the 2jz car is my back up daily and my daily driver (tdi jetta) decided it needs attention to so there is a giant window in the transaxle and gear oil all over the engine and windsheild.

Getting another vw transaxle for the Jetta this saturday then i can begin the COP conversion,TT HG swap, and also if time permiting i will add the flex fuel sensor to the AEM EMS with 8an feed from 400lph and 6 an return.

also found a guy that can hybrid my holset hx35 with a hx40 so ill have a 60mm cold side where it used to be a 56mm and thats $180

Default UPDATE:e85,built r154,suspension overhaul

been a while but ive got a extreme pressure plate and ssv3 shifter, and a fully marlin crawled r154,eibach lowering springs, energy suspension for entire car.

now researching e85 setup, and i may copy omar's setup.
I currentally have a e85 400lph wally in tank, im tempted to try stuffing 2 inside. but i may just do a 044 inline because im shooting for low 600whp.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...cs-please.html

I do have a question regarding what fuel line and brand yall are using?

I have gotten deep into the details of fuel deliver and now im lost on wether to get high dollar carbon ptfe or just the run of the mill white teflon?

here is my discussion on supramania.com

be careful using the act extreme pressure plate , in most cases ,will promote crankwalk
as far as pumps go , one walbro 416 which is 450lph is more then enought for almost 700 rwhp on e85 , just be sure and use ptfe teflon inner bore lines

What transmission Do you have on it now? 500whp may be high if your on a W58.

Right now I have a similar setup.TT HG, COP, with a pt6265, treadstone log manifold, and custom FFIM. Making 480 on 17psi. Tuned a little rich too. I have put in a 3.76 lsd diff since then. Im thinking I can make 500 easily with a retune and get my AFR right. Not sure I want to make more than I am now though because I am on a W58.

I qoute:
Walbro E85 COMPATIBLE 400LPH In-Tank Fuel Pump INCLUDING Universal Install Kit. This pump can support 600 horsepower at the crank on E85!

Lexforlife I appreciate your input, could you show me who is running this setup with 700? i would like to see there build. and I was looking at vibrant ptfe line. something like -8feed and -6 return but my tuner said that he would run 2 400lph and have -6 from each pump to the rail and drill the rail in between injector 3 and 4 for a -6 return so there is a proper balance. he admits it may sound overkill but he would run that setup on any mild to wild e85 JZ motor just because everyone always comes back to run more.

Edit:rail would be dual feed-center return the down side i can think of is say 4 years from now pump 2 fails, cylinders 4-5-6 go by by.unless you have 2 fail safe O2 for each bank

and the trans is a done up 154. with a 3.91:1

read post 43 from alpha my tuner , one of the 10 top tuners in america if not the best

http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...416-pump/page2

and heres another

http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...&daysprune=365

if wired correctly using 8 guage wiring from battery to relay and you are using at least 1100 cc inj at 43 psi base and one single 8an line to filter and split into 2 6an lines at rail , you will be golden

having enough fuel headroom is important but over fueling beyond headroom creates another big issue .. if majority of fuel is just looping back to tank , you are heating up fuel badly and will cause some cavitation .. with the excess heat creates tremendous vapor in the tank and can also lead to vapor lock in either case a/f ratios on hot fueling usually lead to a/f giving lean readings

i am personally using 2 of the aem 320lph pumps for my 650 ish goals on e85 .. not over the top but more then enough headroom to supply that goal

also btw , having a built r154 has zero to do with getting crankwalk from a extremely heavy pointless pressure plate ,, the thrust washers by the crank are made of a soft material , you exert that pressure from the pressure plate againstd it enough times and they will smash and drop out of place giving you crankwalk

Hmmm I guess I could sell it but I was keen on using the full face for daily use. I hear a lot about chatter from puck style. And I do realize the built 154 has nothing to do with the thrust washers-solid300 had asked what trans was being used. I just didn't phase it correctly. I'll check out your links and have another post tonight. Today is the trans drop and suspension teardown day.
